So, my question: how I can force regen the motor? (I was told that this may resolve the de rate problem). Perhaps this has contributed to the problem, but the MIL and check engine light came on (and the fault code) when the bar dropped to 2 before I put the DEF. I put DEF from love's pump rather than buying the bottled stuff. DEF gauge bar is full, but amber light flashing. It seems the wires are newer, so the sensors may be as well, but I have this problem:įault code EEC61 spin 5246, this just means the warning was ignored so the motor went to de rate. ![]() The problem is it's having DEF problem (I think) and the motor de rated on me (I forgot about this too). If only SPN 4374/FMI 0 is present, Go to step 4. If other faults SPN 4334/FMI 3, 4 or SPN 4374/FMI 3, 4 are active, troubleshoot the other faults first. Turn the ignition ON (key ON, engine OFF). I am now running on my own (well, not yet), with my own authority and a private broker and I just got my truck. NOTE: SPN 520327/FMI 4 may also set as a result of this fault.
